Carrig National School  - Ballycommon, Nenagh. 2023

When the last day is an assessment of skills followed by a timed obstacle course, all the students get to demonstrate their own personal expertise. Some are so skilled at slow control of the bike, others at hand signaling and shoulder checking, or for many their communication skills are top notch. And everybody loves a limbo :)

There is something for everyone when it comes to cycling.

Congratulations to 4th class in Carrig National School, in Nenagh. All passed with flying colours.

PRESENTATION PRIMARY SCHOOL, CARRICK-ON-SUIR

- TRAINER:- Ray Clarke

Our outdoor classroom allows for some visual learning, while outdoors. Recognising that all students learn differently, and our aim is to increase road safety learning so we try to maximise the opportunities.

KILCASH NATIONAL SCHOOL

TRAINER:- Ray Clarke

This school had a brilliant opportunity to train on the road, and embraced every second of it. Showing a great example of roundabout knowledge and on road courtesy.

SKEHEENARINKY NATIONAL SCHOOL

TRAINER:- Tina Clarke

This hardy bunch had the perfect yard to practice safe cycling on the grass area as well as a yard big enough to simulate several road situations, all at once.
In this school Ray and some newer cyclists had the opportunity to develop their skills to become proficient cyclists. Thank you Skeheenarinky for inviting us over.
